Saturday Russell worked. At frickin 3am. Crazy...so I got up with him, then went to bed after he left for work. Then got up later at like 8, did a crapload of housecleaning (you can see our dining room table now! No junk on top!). And I babysat from 4-8 that night, which was surprisingly fun. I'd been afraid I would get tired and stuff, but no worries. I got lucky, too, the girls are crazy about The Lawrence Welk Show...they aren't really allowed to watch TV, mainly just when they're sick and stuff. But Saturday nights, they watch Lawrence Welk (if you've never heard of it, consider yourself young :) and Google it). It's like a ceremony for them...before the show starts, they have to get out all their dresses from the dress-up box, lay them out on the couch (and lay skirts with matching shirts), so that they'll be ready to change into quickly between songs. Then they put on their favorite dresses for the opening number, and dance around as the music starts. For slow songs, their "style" tends to be more ballerina-ish, and the quicker songs are more like salsa dancing. They're so cute! I want one, but then again I don't. I know how not-ready I am, and also I enjoy my/our freedom right now, to do what we want, when we want (to some extent).
Yesterday I had a migraine. It was bad, I threw up. Russell was as sweet as could be, he got me everything I asked for and while I took a nap, he went to a meeting so that he wouldn't be making noise keeping me awake (and cuz he likes meetings). I slept off and on from 5pm to 4am this morning, when I got up. Just woke up at 7pm when Russell got home from his meeting and convinced me to eat some yogurt and take some headache medicine. I did wake up at midnight, and felt completely rested and headache-free...I was ready to get up and go, so had to force myself to go back to sleep. This morning I felt great, especially for a Monday. I do hate headaches but I like that sometimes they leave you with a giant spurt of energy afterwards. And I love my husband...he's the best nurse in the world. :)

Hey, I'm not sure I knew you had a blog. Welcome to the blog world!
Terry used to get migraines alot of times on the weekends. The doctor told him it was due to the rapid change in the amount of stress (from stressful work to non-stressful home hopefully). He got some medication that helped to open up the blood vessels in his neck and they helped a lot. Hope you can find something that helps. It's a bummer to have those unexpected interruptions in your schedule.
