Sooo...we get a three day weekend!!!! No bigger news than that. We're not going away or anything, we'll watch fireworks and that's about it. Steele Indian School Park is really close and they're having a display, so we may watch that from Russell's mom's house or just somewhere nearby.
There've been so many forest fires lately (some still currently burning), it makes me sad that people try to start campfires, or they toss out their lit cigarette butt, or whatever, and it causes a fire that takes firefighters away from the towns they need to be taking care of and puts their lives in danger, and it destroys homes/cities. All because of one stupid person. Right now I know of at least one in California, and there's several here in Arizona, the closest being the one near Crown King and the one in the Gila River bed. That second one was sparked by lightning, but still all the rest are unnecessary.
