I'm Eating Green Grapes

I should be ashamed of myself. I knew I hadn't posted in a while, but it's been over 3 weeks...that's bad. Anyways.

The weekend of July 18th, 19th, and 20th Russell and I went camping. It was the annual Lewis Canyon Campout, where a whole bunch of people go and camp together. I went last year too, which is kind of neat because it makes me realize how long Russell and I have been together. I know in my head how long it's been (we started dating April 11th, 2007), but things like this-where it's an annual event and I've gone with him twice-make me really realize the actual expanse of time that's passed, if that makes sense. Back on the subject, camping was definitely fun. Dustin came, he rode the quad a couple of times, I think it was good training for learning how to drive a manual transmission vehicle. A lady we know brought her friend's daughter who was ten, I think, and she and I got along really well. We played cards a bunch, games like: Speed, Egyptian Rummy, Spoons (we played that with Dustin), and BS (with Dustin as well). She brought mancala (a great game), which we played a lot as well. It was kind of nice to have her there, as I'm shy and didn't really know many people there, and plus I like kids so it wasn't bad.

Friday night we(I) wanted to go do something, so we decided on the drive-in to see Hancock and The Dark Knight, but as we started driving there (after probably less than 30 seconds), we both decided it was a bad idea. It was, as Russell says, "A-Hundred-and-HOT," in spite of being 8pm. So we went to Blockbuster instead, and in our cozy air-conditioned apartment, we watched Juno. And I am sooo glad, too! I've wanted to see that ever since it came out but it exceeded my expectations, by far! I highly recommend it, if any of you haven't seen it yet. It's one of those "weird" movies, but even Russell liked it. Usually he doesn't take to movies that aren't "normal" or mainstream, which Juno sort of was, but still definitely different.

On that note, I'll leave you all with some links, I'll do several today since I've been slacking:
